In this episode, Christine and Wendy interview Dr. Adriana Popescu. Dr. Popescu is a licensed clinical psychologist and empowerment coach with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field.

Christine, Wendy and Dr. Adriana Popescu discuss how building team awareness first starts with understanding your individual selves. Being seen, heard, valued is the key to strengthening the overall buy-in to the mission, vision, and strategy of the organization. This in turn releases the energetic “lift” or “engagement” that then creates ripple effects over time.

Dr. Adriana, Christine and Wendy share concrete practices for cultivating self awareness. It can be as simple as pausing before each meeting to conduct a check in to implementing the five elements of intimacy to executing a leadership offsite that energizes the whole.

This conversation will help you activate team energy by fostering team alignment through self awareness, celebrations, vulnerability, slowing down together, and more. Stay tuned for the next conversation in this series as they explore the skill of sensing what the organization, team, or culture needs in order to include people in safe, authentic, and collaborative spaces.
